We enjoyed walking the beach after dinner with Misty. She however did not like the fireworks on Saturday night at a pier south of Lifeguard Station 15, Hamlet entrance.

The food here is great, but so nice that thwy care about your pup too. They have water dishes for your furry pal and they also brought us a cup of ice. We really enjoyed the experience, but wish there had been more shade. Misty hid under the table from the heat, but we kept moving our chairs to keep shaded. Try for a table with more awning coverage if you can.

We had fun walking our dog along the riverwalk. Nice views and spaces here and there for potty breaks.

We wanted to take our 2 year old dog on her first kayak trip. We found this business on BringFido and decided to try them out. We were not dissapointed. We had trouble with rainy weather, but because they were slow, we were allowed extra time. We had fun on the Cape Fear River paddling around some islands. We stopped on Keg Island and since we were alone, our pup ran free. We made sure no birds were nesting nearby before letting her run. Plus late summer, it's unlikely there are eggs to worry over. We found the sit on top tandem kayak was perfect for us.
