Outstanding!

We have stayed at many pet-friendly hotels, and this one is hands above all the others. First, it allows large dogs. Second, there is no additional pet fee. Third, they offered pet treats and a dog bed upon check-in. Fourth, dogs can hang in the common area of lobby. And fifth, it is one block from Boston Public Gardens. So many positives for this beautiful, welcoming hotel.

Warm and Welcoming

The check-in process was easy and the staff was very welcoming to our dog, Moose. We filled out the pet policy paperwork and were given a magnet for the door that said we had a dog in the room. They accommodated our request to be on the first floor making Moose’s potty breaks nice and easy.

So why the three bones (aka stars)? Well one reason is that the room was really run down and worn. But the most significant issue was the smell of mold and mildew in our room. We didn’t really notice it until we came back from dinner. That’s when the smell really hit us. Not sure if it is in the AC as we had turned that on before leaving for dinner. But we also saw mold in the shower grout and all over the showers curtain when we showered in the morning.
