Excellent Food With Lovely Large Patio
Calhoun'sWe ate at Calhoun’s on our way out of town headed home. We started with the pretzels and beer cheese which were massive and so tasty. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband loved the hickory burger. We were offered water for our pup which was so nice. Had the large patio to ourselves for most of our meal. Patio isn’t covered but about half the tables have umbrellas. The barbecue was so so tasty! We wished we had ate there twice while we were in town.
Great Food Along Creek
Howard's RestaurantWe came to Howard’s looking for a meal more than just a burger. Finding parking was tough, but once we did the outdoor patio was very nice. Not covered, but does have umbrellas over most tables. Patio was a bit crowded if you are nervous about your dog having their own space to settle down in.
We started out with the pulled pork nachos which were huge and excellent. We then had the teriyaki chicken breast and chicken sandwich. Both were great, and food was quick. A little on the expensive side (I think the 6oz filet was $30), but overall very good!
Low Key Eats
Three Jimmy'sWe stopped here the night we got into town. It was the first restaurant we had taken our pup to and it was great! The staff was so nice and accommodating to us! Food was good also. We had a pulled pork sandwich and plate. Nice covered patio!
