My dog is a great listener with great recall but we don’t do off leash much. This beach was perfect for it. All dogs were well behaved with owners paying total attention to their dogs (unlike some dog parks where folks get distracted with their phones etc). Mostly packed sand/small rocks. The beach was clean except for a lot of seaweed which seems normal. There are $10 dog wash stations too with warm water. Small parking lot but had no trouble even on a Sunday morning around 10 in the middle of summer.

Service was great and there’s a large patio out front that’s dog friendly. Food was delicious as well.
