I have 2 Shih Tzus, Zoey and Daisy Mae.

My two dogs loved it! Had so many shady places for them. Tips: 1. Take your own doggie bowl, water and hydrate your fur babies often in the summer. 2. There’s one doggie pit stop that I saw. 3. Pick up after your dog ( I would think this is common sense) . 5. Limit your leash to 6 ft. My dogs loved sniffing everything! Staff was very nice and seem to love dogs. You do take your dog through on some gift shops. So, please be careful. There are breakables that you may be liable so watch the tail wagging. There is little animal zoo your best friend is not allowed into right before Fairyland. One of my fur babies did not like the dark. Please let your dogs’ eyes adjust. Enjoy Rock City!

We took our two Shih Tzus, Daisy and Zoey. They asked us inside or out. I ask can dogs go inside. They said yes. Now I am not sure if it was because they were small dogs or it wasn’t that busy. We decided outside. Staff was amazing with the dogs.

It is hard finding a dog friendly place. Dogs are allowed on beach area only. So if you’re having lunch not a good idea. It was too hot 88 degrees and no breeze. We took our dogs back to the camper and went back to eat. I could see it would be great place when the sun was down or cooler. The food was average. The view was absolutely beautiful.

It’s nice to have dogs parks but it isn’t big enough maybe 300 ft or so. All dog owners were very mindful of their dogs and all Dogs were on leashes. It was very busy and all dog owners did try to keep their dogs in their own space. Apparently, they do monitor this about every 30 minutes.
