We’re driving thru from OH to FL and I am so happy we stopped here! It’s a little further off the highway than I expected but 100% worth it. This is the nicest dog I have ever been to. It’s very large. It has a swimming area but we didn’t use that. It’s has trails in the fenced in dog park, and as someone traveling it’s nice to be able to walk around & stretch my legs as well. This was a great stop to tucker the boys out before another few hours on the car. Whether you live around here or just driving thru, this park is worth the stop!!

We are traveling from OH to FL and Schappacher Dog Park is our first stop. It’s a great spot! Only about 4 minutes (~2.5 miles) from the highway. The park is very clean and well kept. Not huge but big enough for dogs to run and stretch their legs (I have 2 Dalmatians). There’s a separate area for small dogs too.
It’s about 3/4 mulch and bark. Two nice benches and a picnic table. There’s a spout and bowls for water. Poop bags are offered along the fence all the way around the park.
When traveling we will definitely stop here again.

The food is amazing and the staff was so accommodating with the pups! They continually filled our pups' water bowl and genuinely enjoyed us having them there. The patio is a bit small but worked just fine for our two Dalmatians to lay down next to us and chew their bones while we ate. The staff enjoyed the pups as well as other guests. It was a wonderful experience and we'll definitely be back!
