Hampton Inn University
Hampton Inn Harrisonburg UniversityI’ve visited a fair amount of dog-friendly hotels and this one is a preferred destination for me and my furry friend. We visited on a Wednesday night; the room was clean and the traffic noise was light. It is a convenient location too.
Meh
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham WalterboroPolite staff but helpless when other owners left howling dog in room to go to dinner. Against the rules, yes, but no penalty? Dog was 100% quiet while they were present so they probably thought it was OK. Advice to hotel: don’t put all the dogs in rooms next to each other. One barks, they all bark.
Clean but…
Sleep Inn StauntonWe found this hotel to be clean and odor free which is a big deal for a pet-friendly hotel. A small warning: small bathroom! The sink is basically in your room, the toilet & shower were separate.
Clean
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Savannah Airport - PoolerPet hotels have to be rated for your pet. The 1st room smelled like wet dog. The hostess was gracious in moving us to another room which was 10x’s better. The hotel was slightly noisy which would cause our dog to bark. Fortunately this did not result in a chorus of barking dogs. Things settled down by about 11 pm and we slept pretty soundly through the night.
Excellent location
Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte NorthlakeThe Drury Inn offers excellent access to I-77. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the towels were hefty. The only downside for me was street noise, but I'm an extremely light sleeper (my husband heard nothing).
