Don't waste your time. Only gave it one bone because I didn't have the option for zero
Red Roof Inn Newport News YorktownWhere do I begin.....the first room we checked in to had cobwebs all over the place, black spots on the bed cover that looked like someone had used it in a mechanic's shop, and a very questionable stain on the dust ruffle. We changed rooms and when we got to the second room, the bed cover there was also stained and when I called to have the bring us a new one they brought the one from the previous room like I would not notice. The mattress was horrible (picture included) and the room was lacking a smoke detector....also a picture. The hotel is pet friendly but dogs are required to be on a leash and I was taking my dog out in the middle of the night and some of the employees were congregating in front of the entrance and one of them had a very large dog that wasn't even wearing a collar much less on a leash until the dog almost attacked my dog and then it took 2 of them to get a collar and leash on her and when I said something the response was "well, we don't normally have guests bringing their dogs out at this time" apparently I was supposed to train my dogs bladder to their liking. Further more the two closest parking spots that would normally be used for handicapped spots were being used by the employees which I thought was completely unprofessional. This is by far the worst establishment I have ever paid for and won't be doing it ever again. I have literally seen better mattresses in a landfill.
It depends
Applewood Farmhouse RestaurantLast labor day we attempted to visit the apple barn and were told that it would be almost an hour wait because they didn't have a server assigned to the outdoor section. I mean, a paying customer is a paying customer. We have always been very good tippers and it isn't like they didn't have a huge wait staff standing there waiting for a table. SERIOUSLY, it wasn't even busy. Not the greatest visit. They missed it by a mile this time.
