No problems. No complaints. Better breakfast than most.

The details count, too. No bottled water provided in guest rooms. The trash can liners were too small for the cans and fell in whenever anything was dropped in. Most troublesome of all, an HVAC unit (I presume) on the roof made a loud hum every 15 seconds all night. I recommended to the clerk at checkout that a technician check it.

The room was large, with all needed amenities. The guest-adjustable climate control was comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The doggy area was near to the room and well kept. The bedding was high quality and the mattresses were supportive, yet yielding, making for restful sleep.

The historic hotel room was lovely when first walked in, but became an instant mess after unpacking our travel necessities. There was one small bureau with the coffee/tea service on top and one fold out luggage rack. No closet, no place to hang coats. Only one small stiff chair. No place to sit except on the beds. In the bath there was a pedestal sink only. No surfaces for toiletries. The room was "pet friendly" but no thoughtful pet amenities.
There is no on-site restaurant, though advertised as though there is. The restaurant was across the street in the 'sister' Mizpah hotel where we had previously stayed. The only reason we had not chosen to stay there again was the restaurant, which would have been fine except for the overly loud and nerve grating 1920s theme music. So we ended up sitting on the bed eating A&W food in the expensive Belvada. We won't be staying there again. On the bright side, the linens and mattresses were very comfortable.

The floor of our room was crawling with 1/8th inch black hard shell beetles. The desk attendant advised they come from surrounding farmland, occupy all rooms and that there was nothing they could do to eliminate them. She offered a refund if we wanted to go elsewhere. Short, creepy stay.

Dated motel of the fifties. No accessible electrical outlets except one in bathroom. Cafe hasn't recovered from the pandemic; inadequate staff; out of many menu items; closed an hour and a half early.

Staff shortage? Stayed 3 nights; no in-room housekeeping service. No hallway receptacles for used linens or trash. Poor maintenance: leak under bathroom sink with saturated and mildewed hairdryer bag and damage to shelving; non-functioning bath ventilation fan with damage to inside of bathroom door. TV closed captioning non-functioning. Was not asked at checkout about the stay. Otherwise, comfortable bed, quiet, and convenient for our purpose.

Close to busy highway. Bedspreads stained. Non-smoking rooms smelled like stale smoke. Floors not clean.

Was tired enough to sleep and there was hot water for a shower, so 3 dog biscuits.

A little dated, but clean and with comfortable bed. Staff friendly and competent.
