Very nice location with quick on/off 40, quiet and close to shopping if you have a need. Pleasant staff, clean room, nicely decorated with a breakfast that was pretty typical. Green areas close with doggie bags and clean! Only reason I didn’t give them a 5/5 was the pet fee that was $35, which I thought was excessive.

Pleasant staff, older hotel but clearly kept up. Basic room with all the things you’d expect. Nice swimming pool indoors. Gravel behind the hotel to walk the dog, but beware-the greenery has seeds on the ground that have thorns.

Many great things at this hotel. Pleasant attentive staff, my room was spotless and included all things needed with a bump up in quality (provided terry bathrobes, real glasses not disposable, etc), great retro ambiance, clean/fenced dog park area complete with a dog bath and wood chips on the grounds, a very comfortable bed and chair in the room. Outside grounds had a pool, that was great if the weather cooperated but it was hailing when we arrived. All the amenities were charged as a “resort fee” of $15. I would stay there again in nice weather. When it’s cold and inhospitable outside I’d probably go elsewhere to keep the $15 in my pocket.

Clean facilities, spotless room, quiet surroundings. Excellent value! Completely booked by early evening. Small artificial turf potty place but fields beyond suitable for walking. Easy on/off 40 with the usual quick food places close by.

Pluses: Easy access to my route, friendly staff, clean/comfortable room, better than average breakfast. Cons: limited space to walk the pooch.

The pluses: cheap, clean, easy on/off the interstate, all sorts of stores close by. The challenges: loud cars dragging so close by they sounded like they were inside the room, another room partying, and when that all stopped the heater started making noises! I can usually sleep thru most anything but this was over the top even for me. There was a four foot wide dirt and stone strip along a fence for my dog and no doggie bags. Wouldn’t stay here again!

Room was clean except the fins on the heater which were quite dirty. There was a large paved area and a dirt area next to it. Soap and nice towels but no other toiletries or a hair dryer. Restaurant in the parking lot had great chili and homemade carrot cake! Easy on route 40

Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Beverages (coffee and tea selection) available 24/7. Cinder area for pet relief.

Very clean, pleasant check in. Behind the hotel there’s a gravel area and some grass with room enough to throw a ball. Only reasons for 4/5: TV didn’t work and even with their assistance it wouldn’t turn off without unplugging it and I thought over $40 for a pet fee plus tax added on was a bit much.

Friendly, spotless, right off 40. Inexpensive, basic accommodations that only lacked on-site walking area. There was some grass and enough room to throw a ball.

One night stay. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was not available due to chef calling in. I would say there was a artificial turf spot roughly 8’ x 8’ where dogs could relieve themselves, otherwise just pavement and landscaping. The room was carpeted which might pose a problem for some. I will probably stay elsewhere on my return trip in hopes of finding a hotel where I can walk more given I have a high energy dog.

Second generation hotel that has been beautifully maintained. The attention to detail is evident: lovely retro room with comfort updates (flat screen, many channels, internet, microwave, fridge, heat and cooling that work), chocolate kisses on my pillow, and a planned pet area that is even lighted at night. All rooms are ground level. Add to all this pleasant people and it was a great deal.
