A girl and he pups

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and they have their own fenced in dog park: a large fenced in area with grass and rocks and lots of room for dogs to stretch their legs off leash. Clean too! Let’s keep it that way, fellow travelers.

Looks like a run down Embassy Suites. Not great for dogs at all as another traveler said. We were on third floor and had to go to elevator, then a long hall only to go outside to cement or rocks. There is s pool in the interior courtyard which had screeching kids starting at 8:30 and you can absolutely hear it in the room which is a glass door with glass floor to ceiling windows covered by blinds. We also ran out of hot water midway through my 10 minute shower. The breakfast was great but that’s about it.

The menu is great and everyone is friendly but if you have lap dogs, know that most of the dog friendly tables are high tops and dogs must stay on the ground. Don’t sit at the bar if you’re not a smoker.

Room was clean and we needed a place to stay. But people were outside the room yapping until like 2am which isn’t ideal with dogs. Also, if you’re sensitive to smoke, get a 2nd floor room because those same people were smoking and it comes through the window AC unit. Breakfast was marginal and when I tried to make a waffle at 8:45, I was told "breakfast closes at 9 and people don’t usually come at 8:45 so we shut it off." Grassy area was pretty abundant and right outside the room.

Friendly, clean. Close to main area of Homer.

Called to verify and pets are NOT allowed on this tour as it requires you to get on the Alaska railway and they don't allow pets.

staff was incredibly friendly and the food was fabulous. they welcomed Diego and he had a little friend on the patio as well. Highly recommend!

Clean hotel, friendly staff, close to lots of sites and things to do with your dog.

Booked this place last minute for a trip to Banff. It was incredible. The staff was friendly, hotel was clean, Diego had a blast and we were both dreading having to leave. Close to Banff and all it has to offer but this city is great and has a nice downtown too.

Road-tripped across the US and this place is the best restaurant stop we’ve made. The staff is incredibly friendly. the scenery is great. and the food is outstanding!!

The staff were friendly and moved us to a different room when the first one was too smoky but they all ended up smelling that way because people smoke outside all the time and the window AC units pull it in. If you’re sensitive to the smell, don’t stay here.

It’s a friendly hotel and the rooms were clean. The parking lot left a bit to be desired with some broken glass there and especially in the grassy area but all in all a decent place to stay.

Really nice rooms, nice staff, and breakfast was great.

great shopping area with both popular chain stores and tourist vendors. everyone was friendly and welcoming to my pup.

as some have said, it’s got a lot of seaweed, (look for jellyfish that washed up in it- not a lot, but I’m hyper cautious) and careless people leave garbage but it’s not crowded and the water is calm (no ‘waves’). you can find a sandy part that is semi private if you prefer to stay away from others. it may not be for everyone, but it’s my favorite. and there is a great dog-friendly restaurant across the street. The only reason I didn’t give 5 bones was the seaweed but everything has a trade off and I’ll take this one over anything else.

locally owned, friendly service, and great location. you think you’re going the wrong way to get there but it is definitely a treasure when you get there.
