Small, quiet campground in the forest

Mountain Stream RV Park

Campground is remote but no too far from blue ridge parkway or a town. The fenced dog park has poop bags and a dog wash station. The campsites are gravel and most are along the creek. The layout and design of the campground is nicely done with plantings and roe lighting at night providing just enough light to walk Fido but not too bright. bath house is clean. River edge at sites is a few feet with large rocks. Good for fishing but not for dogs to reach stream. They can enter at the entrance behind the sign or closer to the bridge. There is also a large pavilion with fireplace and large tv. Our camping neighbors were all friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

Our go-to RV park in Santa Fe

Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground

Very dog friendly. No extra charge for dogs - we have 2. In addition to a fenced gravel dog run, there is a hiking trail through the back of the property that is great for dog walks. They provide poop bags at the dog run and hiking trail. Most sites have a tree for shade expect ones in the very front of the park. Our only problems have been emergencies requiring a premature departure (sick dog and RV equipment failure) and there is no refund after you arrive.

Quiet secluded place in Mountains

Blue Creek Lodge RV Park

We have stayed here a number of times over several years. We have stayed in the lodge, cabins and RV park. In 2020 they started to allow pets in the cabins. dogs have always been allowed in the RV park. There are some nice grassy areas to walk the dogs as well as a meadow behind the RV sites. Blue Creek Lodge and RV is located in a valley with mountains on 3 sides and the Rio Grande river across the street. This is a family run business and all the family members are helpful and a delight. In the summer of 2020 we stayed in the RV park twice and plan to go back in 2021.

Now Bellagreen

Ruggles Green Woodlands

WE went on a day in the upper 50s. The patio had a few heaters but the main one was out. They tried to get it working. The plastic sides kept the patio from being too cold. The food was great and they brought water dishes for the dogs. We went after a meetup at Cattail dog park. I recommend this restaurant to take your dogs
