Good size room with queen bed. Tiny bathroom with almost no water pressure (the water truly just dribbled out of the shower head). Paper thin walls - so your experience is largely dependent upon having quiet neighbors. Easy access to the beach. Adequate dog walking along the street.

Old fashioned hospitality- lots of information left in the room about the hotel, restaurant, and places in the area, and housekeeping is provided daily. Plenty of grassy areas for the dogs. Walk to shopping and food. On-site restaurant is outstanding.

Perfect location, downtown Telluride along the river. Hotel has a lot of unique features. Rooms have fireplaces and small balconies overlooking the plaza around the gondola. Comfortable common areas throughout the hotel create a cozy, bright, and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient bar and grill provides delicious meals, eat in or take to room. Spacious room easily accommodated two adults and two large dogs. Fantastic, grassy area for dogs to play with others, off leash. Beautiful walking path along the river. Exceeded our expectations for a dog friendly hotel. Be advised, there are no in room refrigerators. Looking forward to a return visit.

Beautiful, convenient location. Gorgeous grounds, spectacular views and quiet surroundings. Delicious meals on the dog friendly patio at Scout Grill. Lots of green area for dog relief. Ramp to second floor room is an added plus for senior dogs. Cozy, cabin-like room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the a/c struggled to barely cool the room. $20 per night parking fee seems exorbitant.

Home away from home! Management goes out of its way to provide for your every need and then some. Roomy, comfortable, and well equipped suite. Front desk staff made us feel welcome and at home. Located at a beautiful, fun plaza-great restaurants and shopping. Ate with our dogs on the patio at the California Pizza Kitchen, delicious food and exceptional service. Will definitely go back.

Under renovation. Caused quite a mess outside the building, limiting dog walking. Room was huge and clean but poorly lit and contained piece-meal furnishings. No problem checking in with our two big dogs in tow, but the woman at front desk the next morning gave us a hard time saying their sizes didn’t meet her interpretation of the hotel’s pet policy. No desire to go back.

Not what I expected from a Best Western. Big room but the carpeting was filthy, and the overpowering smell of chemical cleaning products was nearly unbearable. Hotel is perched right on a noisy interstate, directly across from a large truck stop. However, lots of grass on side of building and cornfields behind made a great dog walking experience.

Older hotel needed upgrades. Kind of dingy but not dirty. A/C didn’t work in the first room we were assigned. Rooms were quiet and bed comfortable. Bathtub rusty. Good enough for an overnight with the dogs. However, there were a group of young men hanging out in the parking lot drinking all evening. Parking lot has a lot of trash and beer bottles strewn about. I will not be returning.

The hotel lobby was under renovation. It was dirty and messy. The room smelled. The elevator broke. Don’t consider staying here until renovations are completed - even then consider other places. Very limited grassy areas for the dogs. It gets one bone because we did tough it out and spent the night.

Updated, older style motor inn. Clean room with nice amenities (a/c, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker). Not spacious but comfortable, even with two big dogs. Comfy bed and plenty of towels. Friendly and helpful staff. Direct access to clean and spacious beach. Easy access to pet relief areas. Outdoor seating, picnic area, and grills. Community feel with other patrons. Walkable to restaurant and convenience store. Quiet location away from busy highway.

We spent one night at this hotel with our dog and had a 100% positive experience. The front desk staff was welcoming and our room was wonderful. We would stay at this hotel again.
