Went to Tuckerbox today with my miniature poodle to meet a friend for breakfast. The outdoor seating was ver comfortable, table cloths, soft chairs. The waiter welcomed my pup and remembered her name throughout the meal. We had good food, large menu selections . I had to use the bathroom before we left, and I was allowed to carry my min poodle inside to use bathroom which was very appreciated! Good food, great location, warm and welcoming.

Frieghthouse has homemade gluten free, dairy free and regular baked goods, espresso coffee and breakfast and lunch items along with a natural food store. SUPER dog friendly offering seating inside and outside. You don’t have to leave your dog in the car!

We enjoyed a gluten free pizza and some wings on the outdoor covered patio . It’s small, about 6-8 tables outside but it’s nice because it has a roof to block rain and sun shades if it’s bright out. Good food, dog friendly outdoors .

I hoped to enjoy breakfast with my pooch on the patio, dogs where allowed outside …but not inside where you had to place your order. I was unable to order so I left.

Lovely outdoor seating, tables with umbrellas for shade and open air seating options in summer, have set by outdoor fireplace in winter.
Right next to walking/biking path so you can take a walk before or after your meal. Food was decent pub/grill menu.

The Wilburton Inn is a very unique place to stay, like nothing else in Vermont!
There are plenty of rooms, separate buildings with their own kitchens and living areas and then the “big house” where the breakfast and parties take place. The place was decked to the nines and very festive with holiday lights and Christmas Tree in the grand living room.
We took our two Cavaliers to the Dog Slumber Party weekend. It is a fun event if you are a dog lover and love meeting dog loving people.
Friday night there is a meet and greet and chance to meet other attendees, Saturday you can tour the grounds, shop in town, partake in activities and go to the town holiday parade which the Inn makes a float for.
Saturday night is the group slumber party around the Christmas tree, dogs and people alike arrive in their favorite matching pajama sets, you enjoy treats and drinks and caroling led by the Inns host and daughter of the owner.
Sunday morning is brunch and lounging .
It was a unique experience both seeing the property and the dog activities. The dogs don’t really have free time to play or romp around together, most are on leashes for the events so it’s you and your dog mingling with other people and their dogs.
It would be nice if it was a Cavalier only event, but all dogs are allowed to that creates a variety of dog personalities and energies but for the most part people where respectful and kept their dogs under control. It was fun to be ina festive setting for the holidays.

Great local store with dog, cat, rabbit and horse supplies, clothing, gardening supplies and more! Can bring dogs in in leash, super friendly.

When you walk into Tailswag you can’t help but smile! A fun, unique boutique pet store in downtown Littleton with cat and dog items from fun to practical. The owner is friendly and engaging, you feel immediately welcomed. A pet friendly Littleton tour guide is available that shows where pets are allowed in the surrounding restaurants, retail and trails.
It’s like the welcome center for pets.
I highly recommend a visit!

Fun for the whole family! Well behaved dogs welcome, but on leash only and under control as trails are on private property and code is to respect land owners who own their own dogs. Off the Beaten Trail
canine boarding facility nearby in Newark of you want to day board your dog for the day while you bike!

Carmens ice cream shop is part of Freighthouse cafe and natural food store. Our pups love to wait at the window for their ice cream and walk to the grassy park next to the building to sit at the picnic tables. Plenty of parking and outdoor space, and yummy ice cream. Espresso cafe, natural foods and bakery indoors.
