Great Location, Great Food
Sagebrush BBQ & GrillOur dog was welcomed and treated like a queen, and we witnessed several other dog patrons having similar experiences. The restaurant is an indoor/outdoor combo with open outer walls in the summertime so sitting at a sidewalk/patio table with the dog doesn’t feel like being kept out of the establishment. Awesome signature BBQ sauce at this place!
Winter Park Winner!
Hernando's Pizza PubCasual, fun, delicious, and nothing typical about this place! Dog-loving staff and a huge patio area.
Staff truly loves dogs!
Brickhouse 40 Bar and GrillReally delicious food and drinks served by staff who treated our dog like a VIP. Patio is narrow but it works. We enjoyed everything about our visit.
Lots of Love for Our Dog Here
Carver's Bakery CafeOur dog was not just tolerated, but actually welcomed. Food was great and service was friendly. A great find!
Limited Space Available
Goody's CreperieDogs are welcome at outdoor tables (you just bring your food outside to sit) but there are just a few tables outside and they are close together, surrounding the front door. The food is excellent so it’s worth the cozy setting if your dog can handle the extremely close proximity to lots of people passing by to come and go from the restaurant and other dogs at tables just a few feet away.
Nice Area, We’ll Be Back!
Pilgrim Haven Natural AreaWe enjoyed the trails through the woods, near the stream and in the fragrant meadow. The beach area was narrow and very rocky, so shoes are a must and tender-footed dogs may be reluctant at first but this was a good combination of a nature walk and water access. I wouldn’t come here for swimming myself due to the rocks but it’s clean and clear water without too many people and a good place for dogs to play after hiking through the trails. We noticed all dogs were leashed while we were there. No dog messes or trash laying around. Nice!
Nice Area, Beware Dogs Off-leash On The Beach
Dog Park Beach at Fort de Soto ParkThis park was a great find! Beautiful area with mostly friendly people and animals. The fenced areas are a good size, the dog wash is a nice bonus, and it was not crowded at all. Only complaint was the fact that most other dogs were off-leash in the beach/water area and most of their owners were not attentive to their dogs (friendly dogs, but still) overwhelming and following our on-leash dogs everywhere we went, begging for our treats, getting tangled in our leashes, etc. As with any dog beach or dog park, it’s great to have access to beautiful facilities and natural areas but your experience each visit will depend on the other dog owners there at the time.
Great Location, Staff Loves Dogs!
Treasure Bay Resort & MarinaLocated directly across from Treasure Island beach and walkable distance from several dog-friendly restaurants, this hotel has first floor rooms for dog owners featuring private patios leading directly to a spacious grassy area adjacent to the marina. Dog relief bags and waste can provided. Dogs are welcomed at the rooftop cabana bar and lounge area as well. $100 non-refundable pet deposit required. Definitely worth it for the convenience of your own doggie backyard and pup-friendly bar-side lounge!
Great Location And Staff
VIP Mexican American CuisineWe dined on the patio with two puppies and they were welcomed and treated well by staff and other patrons. The wait was long (1.5 hours) which is challenging with two pups but the food was great and prices were definitely reasonable. A bar is available on the patio while you wait and water is available for the pets at any time. Location is walkable from all the Treasure Island hotels and beaches.
