They loved our dogs!
St. Augustine DistillerySt. Augustine Distillery was a great experience. You get to taste their various spirits along the tour route. At the end in the gift shop, they had 5 different treat flavors for the dogs, too! All free, and they genuinely seemed excited to see our girls. Definitely recommend!
Nice outing
Fountain of Youth Archaeological ParkStaff were super sweet, excitedly greeting our two pups. “Fountain of Pooch” watering stations were located around the park. We were able to have our girls drink some of the actual fountain’s “magical water” by pouring it into the travel container they usually drink out of. Oh, and the peacocks! They are everywhere! Very beautiful and not super intimidated, but they will get out of the way for you and your pups. Great way to spend a couple of hours in St. Augustine.
Great location
C Street RetreatThis super cute house is just a block from the beach right off of A1A Beach Blvd. There are lots of restaurants/ice cream shops within walking distance, too. The fenced in back yard was a relaxing space with a propane grill, fire pit, and nice furniture. The outdoor shower was great for washing the sand off off feet & paws. We can’t wait to go back!
Dog enthusiasts
Jake's on DevineThis is not a dog friendly place. This is a dog bar serving great food and libations. We thought about staying in Columbia for the night rather than just passing though because of this place. Just go already!!
Good food, great view!
The Tini Martini BarWe were seated with our two pups on the covered porch (there is also a patio area in front of that) with a very nice view of the river. We had a couple of cocktails and chicken wings. Food and service were both very good!
Cocktails and Apps
Odd Birds Cocktail Lounge and KitchenWe stopped off mid afternoon for cocktails and a snack. Drinks were good and the appetizers were delicious! We’ll definitely go back for dinner next time we are in town.
Yummy & Dog Friendly
Harry's Seafood, Bar & GrilleWe were seated on the patio, and our server brought 2 small water bowls without us asking. Dinner was great as well as the service. As we finished dinner, the manager came over to ask us what type of dog our pug mix was. She proceeded to share that info into her headset/earpiece thing for the rest of the staff to hear as they had all been discussing how cute she was. Too sweet! We definitely recommend this spot.
The best!
Beachside DinerBeachside Diner is dog enthusiastic! They have a large, covered & screened outdoor area. The staff offered the girls water and treats, and the other customers also seemed excited to share the restaurant with the 4-legged customers. GREAT breakfast food as well. We actually went here twice during our time in St. Augustine.
Super dog friendly!
BeachcomberTheir menu has a kids/pets section! Staff and other customers were super sweet to our girls. Great food and good service. Get there early, though! It gets busy!
Covered Outdoor Seating!
The Craft BarWe stopped in for drinks one rainy afternoon. Our dogs were welcomed into the enclosed patio, which was great! Lots of places only allow dogs outside, so it’s no fun when the weather is bad. Not the case here! It’s going to rain some time when you’re in Florida, so stop in and enjoy some good food and drinks with your dogs on the covered patio at The Craft Bar!
A Must!
Hammerhead's Bar & GrilleWhile in Destin, we visited many dog friendly places (thanks, Bring Fido!). Out of all of them, this was by far our favorite! Renee was our server, and she was excellent to us and our pups! She provided them with fresh water bowls and told us about other dog friendly business in the immediate area! Views were beautiful, food was delicious, and the drinks went down easily! We couldn’t recommend this place more!
