Howard's has been around for as long as it has for a reason. The food is wonderful and the staff could not be any nicer. They've recently renovated the dog friendly deck with a full roof instead of just the tables with umbrellas. So it's comfortable in not so ideal weather.

Great place to stop for breakfast/Lunch in Townsend. Everyone was so nice and brought our dog water and a plate of dog treats when we sat down. There is covered outdoor seating for guests with dogs. The food was amazing. Can't wait to stop back by.

We stopped in to have drinks and lunch while walking River Road behind the grill. It was a beautiful mid 60s day for January. One of thr employees came out to play with our pup before we even got to the door. We were offered dog water and were told they could cook her an un seasoned grilled chicken breast for lunch. Many fun drinks to choose from and delicious food. Everyone was so nice including the other patrons dining with their dogs on the patio.

Awesome covered and cool deck for you and your pup. We were brought a big bowl of ice water as soon as we sat down. Food and cocktails were wonderful! Located across the street from a cute river front park for a nice walk before or after your meal.

Great food & drinks with a very friendly staff. The dog friendly patio is inset to the building so you can have an enjoyable visit even when the weather is less than ideal. We throughly enjoyed our meal here.

Highly recommend stopping in. Awesome beer selection and the food was incredible. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to our pup, along with the other outdoor patrons.

Great stop for those traveling with your pup through Macon. Very convenient off the exit. Lots of yummy food to choose from and plenty of outdoor shady seating on the patio. Waitstaff were sweet and accommodating with our Dog.
