When asked where the dog relief area is, I was told “anywhere there’s grass.” Found a poop bag pole (with no bags) on a very small (4’x5’) grassy spot against the hotel with no light at night. Sign in the lobby says “No dogs allowed in the common areas” inside. Dog policy says dogs cannot be left in your room, so we had to take turns going to breakfast in the morning. Sign on door to outside patio says no dogs allowed on the patio. This is definitely NOT a dog friendly hotel.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is great. We have been here several times and keep coming back. Plenty to do. Dog-friendly beach bar within walking distance. We took our dog to Northside park every day. Absolutely amazing area. Many restaurants are now pet friendly probably from Covid, so they have plenty of outdoor seating. The places we went were very accommodating to our dog. Food was good, too. A little pricey, but that’s what we expected. We were there the first week in June and the weather was perfect.
