Newest hotel in Valemount! Happy this opened and accepts pets. Popular town to stop when travelling between AB and BC and the hotels are all pretty old. This is a great new spot and very convenient for getting in and out

So happy we gave Harrison another try. This beautiful property is smack in the middle of the lake. Beaches and food in all directions! This is a gorgeous hotel. If you quit coming to Harrison because all the hotels were there when your parents were kids, click here! Great new hotel! Awesome Jr suite with no carpet for your dogs to sniff or scratch. They even wrap the furniture in sheets so you can just relax and look at the lake. Or go eat! The German restaurant next door has a private side patio with hooks for leashes. All 4 restaurants directly to the left told me they allowed dogs on their patio. We only had time to eat at 2, but options are great.

I'm a return Seaside guest with my mini-schnauzers. The location was so great last year that we upgraded our room to the most amazing oceanfront view you’ve ever seen! Much better view of downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park than from downtown plus the “Shipyards” district in North Vancouver is so much more clean, friendly and less crowded than the other side of the harbour. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel and how they roll out the red carpet for the furry ones. My kids had their own beds, bowls, water dish all waiting so they could lounge and watch the ships pass by. Another awesome feature when travelling with pets are the direct access secured elevator. You enter and exit outside so no need to drag overly happy dogs through the lobby or wake the night guy when you sneak out for a late night tinkle! Oh, and right outside the elevator there’s a dog fountain. I’ll be back many times!
