My lab loves swimming at Sadler’s Creek. We grab a picnic table by the waters edge and let her fetch her ball in the water. You can also wade (maybe knee deep) across a small stretch of water to an island and enjoy some time away from the people on the main part of the park (bring your own chairs for this). They also have grills and clean restrooms.

This is our go-to place for a beer with our lab because dogs are allowed inside and outside! Bartenders are very nice and we always feel welcome. I recommend ordering a pizza for pickup from SummaJoes across the street to enjoy with your craft beers.
