I am the marketing and events director at Frankenmuth River Place Shops, where I coordinate more than 20 community festivals and events for thousands of visitors each year. Many of our shops and activities are dog-friendly! My dog Holly is a big fan of River Place Shops and loves to stop by her favorite stores for some love and treats. Her favorite place is Hello Cats and Dogs, where she gets to choose her own frosted cookie from the Barkery display.

Beautiful pet-friendly shopping complex!
River Place ShopsRiver Place Shops is a great place to visit with your dog! Most of the shops are pet-friendly - pick up a brochure near any of the complex entrances or inside many of the stores. Make sure to stop by Hello Cats and Dogs to check out the Barkery and get your pup a special treat, and then go to the Pasty Haus to get a snack and drink for yourself and see their unique Pup Menu! My dog Holly LOVES visiting River Place Shops and knows many of the stores that are pet-friendly with staff that are ready to greet her with some love and a treat. There are many green spaces around and poop bag stations for when nature calls, and lots of events and activities dogs can participate in.

Bavarian Belle RiverboatThe Bavarian Belle Riverboat is a unique experience for anyone visiting Frankenmuth! The amazing riverboat team provides a great service with a historical tour of Frankenmuth to narrate the river cruise, and often welcomes well-behaved dogs along for the ride. You can call ahead to reserve tickets or purchase them on-site at the ticket kiosk located at Frankenmuth River Place Shops.

Awesome shop for pets and pet lovers!
Hello Cats & DogsMy dog and I LOVE Hello Cats and Dogs! We always stop in so Holly can pick out a frosted cookie treat and I can peruse the new products and get an accessory or two for my girl. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is always a good sale or promotion happening. If you have a dog or cat you absolutely spoil, then you MUST get to Hello Cats and Dogs!

SugarHigh BakerySugarHigh Bakery has delicious treats for humans AND dogs! I am a big fan of the cupcakes and macaroons but my dog loves the banana beet dog treats that are made fresh in the kitchen by the amazing SugarHigh team. Heather, Adam and their team members also do great work to support a local rescue so we can feel good about patronizing this local business! Great eatery for people and dogs!
Pasty HausPasty Haus is a great place to stop with your dog for a quick treat or meal. For humans, they have a wide variety of pasties and bubble tea drinks. For dogs, they have a specific Pup Menu that includes dog-friendly pasties and snacks plus there is always a water bowl around to make sure your dog is hydrated. In the summer, my dog especially loves to stop for their Pupsicles, made with chicken broth and apple bits that she loves to crunch up!
