I have 2 aussies that love to travel and compete in fun dog events like Canine Gladiators & the Canine Biathlon. Thanks so much to Bring Fido for helping us find fun places to stop along the way!

My 3 girls and I were so happy to discover a dog park in the same park as the Blue Hole! One side is without a water feature, the other side has a pool for dogs to play in! this will be such a treat on hot sumer days. We were almost to our hotel so I kept my dogs out of the water. There is also some agility type equipment, an A-frame, a table. There are picnic tables for people, and of course poop bag dispenser. The only draw back is that most of the park isn't flat, but the hill is not very steep. Also for those with little dogs, there is no separate area for small dogs.

If I could give this motel zero bones I would. The room was a mess - a hole in the wall, there was a horrible smell in the room, the carpet was torn and stained all over and there was some white powder (which I assumed to be deodorizer) on the carpet. Dirty towels were on the nightstand. There was no toilet paper. There was a loud party going on. Glass in the parking lot. No good place to potty my dogs. The security "lock" on the door had been torn off. It was late when we arrived and I couldn't find anywhere close that would allow my 3 dogs otherwise I would have left. Don't stay here.

The room was clean, it had everything I needed. I think the $25 per pet is too high.

The room was clean and there were grassy areas to walk the dogs. It had everything I needed.

Easy to find, clean and comfortable.

Our room was really big. In addition to the bed and usual amenities there was a small table with 2 chairs as well as an armchair to sit in. The location was great, close to the Eel River and a nice walking path. Best of all was the fenced dog area -- a mix of grass, flat stones, and pea gravel.

Even on a very rainy day in Portland it was fun to visit Ole Bollee the giant troll of Portland. The short trail is easy to find(there is a sign saying "Troll Trail". Our visit took less than 10 minutes but it was fun. I understand the Nordia House very close to the troll has delicious Nordic cuisine.

I love staying here. The rooms are huge with lots of extra space that the dogs enjoy. It's clean and well kept. I also love that they have a large lawn to walk the dogs around. The only thing that would make it better is if I could reserve a downstairs room. There's no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow, walking up and down the with 3 dogs all anxious to get outside can be a challenge.
We loved walking here when we stayed at the Golden Hills Motel in Tehachipi. The trails were mostly flat and the scenery was lovely, oak woodlands with a few scattered ponds ( the ponds were posted no swimming or fishing). Doggie poop bags were provided.

While the room needed updating, it was clean and provided all we needed (the biggest plus was they allowed 3 dogs, none of mine are small dogs). Across the street is the Golden Hills Nature Area which was another plus - it was a wonderful place for a good walk (1.5 miles on the trail we took) before we got in the car for another long drive. The motel is far from the freeway and very quiet.

A nicely appointed room. We had a great view of the countryside. Breakfast was outstanding. My dogs loved it!

A lovely hotel. The greeted the dogs like special guests. The room was lovely, nice to have a sitting area separated from the bed. The breakfast was delicious. There's a grassy area to walk the dogs and as an added bonus the hotel was just a few blocks from a dog park.

Everything I needed for me and my 2 dogs. There's a college campus right across the street with a huge grassy area that was perfect for walking my dogs. And the pizza place next door was great for a quick dinner.

The room was nice and ver spacious. I was a bit surprised that dogs were $15 each but I needed a place for the night and since I was traveling with 3 dogs, its difficult to find hotels that allow 3 dogs.

I wouldn't stay here again. No grassy area for the dogs just rocks and burrs. Outside trash cans were overflowing and no poop bags. A sterile white room with nothing but a bed and a tv with a remote that didn't work properly. I couldn't even check email on their super slow internet.

Lots of grassy areas to walk dogs on, complete with poop bags & trash cans. The room was nice. My only hesitation was the neighborhood, there seemed to be lots of homeless on the street by the motel.
