This hotel was clean and comfortable. But the big news is the hotel waters a long, thin strip of grass along the sidewalk and two small sections of grass close to the front door. No big deal, you say? It’s a huge deal in a town that averages 98° in the summer (it was 103° when we were there) and your dog strongly prefers grass to do her business. In contrast, the Motel 6 across the street gave you the choice of dirt, gravel, or dirt and gravel. I’d stay here again, but I should have my head examined for staying in Red Bluff in summer. If you have poor judgement like me, and find yourself staying in Red Bluff instead of driving straight through, you could do a lot worse than Comfort Suites. BTW, the included breakfast is very good, and Kaloca’s Mexican Grill is authentic and very good.

I liked everything about this hotel, with the exception of the 2nd floor room. My lab did not enjoy riding in the elevator.
