We really enjoyed our little early lunch. The employees were so friendly and welcoming of my dog and brought him a big bowl of ice water, and I really enjoyed my food.

Friendly front desk staff who offered biscuits and a dog-friendly local businesses list upon check-in. Lots of area to walk around the property and sniff, including a big grassy yard where you’re allowed to play on leash. Several poo bag stations around the property as well!

Stayed at the Founders in July 2020 with my border collie. We had a great room on the first floor and it was quiet and comfortable, as well as very clean and socially distant during the pandemic. The grounds were beautiful for walking around. Best part was the two giant fenced-in areas for getting in some frisbee and ball chasing exercise! About a 25 minute drive from the beach, but not a bad drive. Don’t pass this hotel up if you have a dog that loves to run!
