Friendly servers who are happy to accommodate dogs at their tables outside. Great food and drinks!

The staff made us feel immediately welcome at the Algonquin, even though we were sure they’d say no to bringing our dog because it seemed like a “nicer “ restaurant that wouldn’t. They were more than accommodating and sat us in a corner with plenty of room on the deck by the water with a dog bowl of water. The staff was friendly, the food was the best I’ve had in the Lake George area, you can’t beat the view and it was very dog friendly!

We came in the edge-season so we had no problem getting a nice table on the upper deck with a fantastic view of the lake, but covered because a storm looked to be rolling in. They were so nice to our pup and brought a water bowl right out. the storm turned out to be absolutely torrential and all of the other customers rushed inside because the rain was starting to get in even the covered areas. The kindly offered to let us sit inside even with the dog, and although we declined, the offer was so nice!
The trout salad was also yummy and they have great fries!
