Maximus

My name is Maximus Edward Padd. I am a male brindle boxer. My human “pets” aka Mom, Grandpa, and Uncle Matthew all call me maxi pad for short. They seem to think they are so clever. I don’t think they are all that funny. My friend Princess Penelope also laughs at me when they call me that. I find that hurts worse because she is just an old overweight beagle, and I never point that out to her or laugh at her. Mainly because she has been here since before I came along, so I have known her my whole life and love her very much. I don’t even bite her when she gets mad at me and tries to bite my big goofy lips off. Mainly because I love her and I know that she is old and grumpy and after all I am pretty “high energy”. Grandpa also calls me “big dummy” all the time. Don’t really know what that means but he usually says it when I hit my head on something while chasing that weird stump growing out of my butt that won’t quit moving. He also says it when I try to eat the vacuum cleaner, and when I continuously eat the ants he tells me to get, even though they bite my big goofy lips. You see, that is why I can’t figure out this particular human term, “big dummy”, because it is used for so many of the things I do. Maybe it means the same as “good boy”, and “handsome” because they also call me that a lot. Anyway that’s all about me.
