Durango

The best dog park in the southwest is a block down the road. I would drive here from Texas just for the dog park. Don’t just use the grassy area at the hotel. The hotel’s proximity to the off leash dog park is the reason you wanna stay here. The rates are perfect and just bring a dog bed if you are concerned about the furniture policy. Although if you are in Durango there’s no reason you should be in your room unless you are sleeping. The river and the mountains are the destination.
