The Hans Jalapeño has the best flavor!
Plenty of outdoor seating and bowls for water for your four legged friends

Not the cleanest rooms, I’d almost prefer the Holiday Inn a few doors down. But this place offers more green grass and space for your four legged creature.

This is a really nice and clean park. A bit out of the beaten path but worth the stop. A separate area for 30lb + dogs and 30lbs less doggos.
Lots of dogs and friendly people except there seems to be some locals (man and woman) who have 8+ antagonistic chihuahuas that they do not have under control. This pack of snarling ankle biters will rush you at the gate and bark obnoxiously while nipping at your dog. While their irresponsible owners sit on their bums across the park in the shade. Not until you’re screaming at them to come get control of their animals do they come over and rip YOUR head off like YOU are the irresponsible party.
Aside from the chihuahua and their owners, this is a great stop along the way.

Good place to play. Most dog owners watch their dog but a few end up in the small and passive dog area that probably shouldn’t.
Lots of divots and holes in the grass … watch your step in some areas.
Good place to play and interact with other doggos. Mila likes to play here

Location puts you right near the center of seaside action and attractions! Rooms are okay - clean but paper thin walls. Furniture could use a little updating.

Pros: across the street from agate beach. Sea Glass Bistro serves decent food, though expensive. Helpful and pleasant staff. Cons: ridiculously overpriced for the two nights we stayed, though it was a holiday weekend, it was still steep for a Best Western. Long walk to the potty for older doggos. 😕

Definitely not worth the price I paid for one night... older with some updates. But still not worth what was paid. Staff is extra nice and friendly though and that made up for a lot. Parking is tight for larger vehicles. Make sure you lock your car and don’t leave anything valuable or enticing inside. Eureka is the “most dangerous” city in northern California.

Not sure on what planet you’d put a dog on the 11th floor and furthest possible room from the elevator and think he’s going to make it all the way outside at 6am but okay! 😂. Other than that this hotel was in a good location, easy on and off 101. Nice clean rooms.

Great location, clean and good accommodations.

people need to pick up after their dogs and dispose of it properly. there is dog poop and bags of poop all along the trails. sad!

Good rooms, nice, clean hotel! A little crowded.

great room and accommodations!

not sure why they put you on the second floor at the furthest point from any stairs or elevator when you have a little dog with a little bladder

good accommodations right on the beach.

walker road is the only place Fido is allowed. you can also earn your Bark Ranger Badge. otherwise you can only bring your pooch on paved parking lots and sidewalks

great views and dog friendly!

they are super dog friendly here as long as you have your pup on a leash. they can also accompany you in the store.

This hotel was a great find! Clean, comfortable and quiet accommodations! We were on the first floor and close to the doggy area. Friendly staff!

We love staying here in a Kamping Kabin with our dog. The setting is in a grove of redwoods for those staying in a tent or cabin. The accommodations and facilities are always clean. There is k9 dog park for off leash. Great access to the Redwoods area. Affordable and always our favorite spot to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shearwater Inn. They even had a basket of items in our room waiting for our dog (food/water dishes, dog towels, dog sheets, treats and potty bags) there was also a letter from their dog Rain who explained the rules clearly. They bring breakfast to your room (complimentary) in the morning and even brought our dog a treat. The rooms were excellent with ocean views and it was close to the beach within a short walk.
