The room didn't seem very clean (sheets were all wrinkled and there was a clump of dog hair in the bathroom) and the mattresses were too soft and lumpy, and the bed covers had spots on them. Also there were only 2 lamps and the room was very dark.

The price was higher than implied (it was an "average daily price and we had to pay much more, plus $25+ each day for the pet fee) and we were counting on an outdoor pool, which was not only closed but unsightly (green and moldering, and we had a view of nothing but the pool). Otherwise fine, though. We liked the location, and the beach was nice. It's a long walk to the water, though, so be prepared for that, if you are easily fatigued (the beach has to be a quarter mile wide there.)

The porch is a little small, so if your dog gets nervous in tight quarters or reacts to other dogs, you might want to avoid it on a busy summer night, but the atmosphere is great and you can always get their yummy food to go.
