We have been going to this motel since it was Outer Reach motel. They did a very nice renovation over the pandemic. The one issue we had this past week was not having any Wi-Fi at all this stay. My husband works remotely and had no way of doing his work as normal. Staff were unable to help out when we talked with them about our concerns. He was told he could use their Wi-Fi in the main building, however said they may have interrupts with staff vacuuming.

Very pretty hotel and great location even though it is not on the beach. Pet friendly rooms are on the first floor but raised higher like a second floor. Very clean, and nice breakfast.

I chose this hotel because it was showing as 4 and a half bones. It used to be a Comfort inn. It has not been cared for in quite some time, so isn’t quite like a Baymont that I remember at all. Not the best of area or atmosphere. For the price I would have stayed elsewhere. I have to say the wonderful woman at the front desk was absolutely great! The room is clean, but smell a little bit old.

My husband and I were looking to stay here, however our fur baby is a (pit bull) which is one of the dog breeds that are not allowed. Our 12 year old Lily is one of the sweetest dogs and would never harm or scare anyone. Lily hardly ever barks either. We have encountered many other small dog breeds that are allowed here, that are not quite as friendly or quiet. I am just so hurt that these listed breeds that aren’t allowed is so unfair. Any breed can be difficult and then should be banned if a problem occurs. Shame on Westgate Resorts.
