We had a wonderful time with our dog, Louie and our camping neighbor regularly visits with their family dog. This park is positioned near the Appalachian Trail and there are multiple places to hike nearby. Your dog must be leashed at all times and most people were following the rule. At the campsite, they have restrooms and showers with running water for washing your dishes as well. Go camping and hiking here!
This felt a lot less like a dog area than the other places that I've been. It was really surprising that there aren't any trash or recycling cans. A lot of people were picnicing there which is difficult with our food driven dog. It was pretty but if you're looking for a more hidden and off leash area this isn't it.

This place was full of happy dogs running along the trails and in and out of the lake and Creek. It was so nice to be able to be off leash since our pup does better being able to choose where he walks and when. It was clean and used thoughtfully. Trash and recycling bins along the way and benches for the humans.

We absolutely loved this little park!

So many dogs come here and it is so easy to socialize your dog here.
