We love going to the Maroon Bells whenever we get the chance. It is best to get there early and before dawn for prime viewing location and less crowds. We have never had a problem having them to ourselves for a bit, but you have to time it perfectly! Don’t miss this favorite attraction in Colorado!

The Tivoli Lodge is a very special place! It is owned by the Lazier Family, and Bob and Diane Lazier are founding pioneers in the Vail Valley. dogs are treated with love, respect, and members of the family at this elegant hotel!! everything about this lodge says that it should be too fancy to be down to Earth and loving to our pups... and it is not! it is TRULY one of the best places to stay with your dogs. They have a limited amount of rooms for dogs and their people. The rooms we have stayed in opened have French Doors that open out onto the green belt outside where you can walk your pups. we can not recommend this hotel highly enough!!! We consider it our home away from home when in the Vail Valley!

What an amazing cozy, romantic gem we found in Ouray! They provide sheets to cover the bed and couches for your pets and it is one of the best places we have found that made our dogs feel
welcome! A very small cleaning fee ($15 at the time of this post) and very responsive to any other needs you may have. we had the Box Canyon Suite which has a large back patio and a fenced in yard that our pups were able to play in, while feeling safe! ( make sure the gate is closed.) Deer and other animals are close by, so keep a watch. Fresh baked bread was delicious! I can not say enough great things about the Ouray Main Street Inn! We highly recommend this place for you and your pups!

The John Denver Sanctuary Garden is so peaceful! We have been here several times with our Scottish Terriers, Kadie & Sadie. Usually they are the only dogs around. Keep your dogs on a leash and enjoy walking around while reading and humming along with the songs. It is a magical place!! Enjoy!

From the moment Kadie (my Scottie) and I entered the lobby, we were treated with amazing care! Kadie was lives in by many hotel employees. There were beautiful views and ample places to walk together! I would highly recommend.
