I'm so glad we found this spot for our pup while driving cross the state! Just a few minutes or so off the highway and secluded. We were suprised that the park was deserted around 5:30pm on a Tuesday, but then again, it was about 90 degrees out.
Large grassy area with trees, shaded benches, and a pavillion, plus a smaller (but still good sized) area for smaller pups.
Dedicated handicap parking on the west side of the park, as you drive in, and a large lot on the south end. If you park at the SE corner of the dog park, there are restrooms and a human & dog water fountain (in season), and there is an entrance at that corner.
Highly recommend!!

Perfectly good place to stop on the road, and I would return!
Pros:
Pretty thick green grass
Decent size: approx 20 x 40 yards
Clean-ish (probably half a dozen poops not cleaned up).
Over a dozen fly trap bags, hanging around the park, which were effective.
Cons:
Poop bags not stocked (we always bring our own, but clearly not everyone does or cares).
Zero shade other than a large banner ad affixed to the fence.
No water, but I wouldn't expect it.

One of the nicest & well maintained dog parks I've ever been to! We were just passing through on I-80 and this was the perfect pit stop for our pup.
Beautiful, fenced-in area with luscious green grass (mid- October), shade trees, and benches.
Well definitely stop on the way back!
