This was formerly Truman’s, but happy to say the new ownership is doing a great job. MUCH IMPROVED! Clean, dog friendly patio seating with a new awning. Great food and excellent service.

Big comfortable deck by a pond around back where your Fido will be greeted with a cool bowl of water. Food and service are excellent. Check out their monthly car shows!

Nice mostly shaded outdoor patio. Dog friendly, water bowls…great service and great food, lots of options for breakfast or lunch.

Service here is kind of hit or miss, especially if you sit at one of their 5 outside tables. Not much shade, dog water was served in a cup,..but

McAllister’s has closed, and is now McGrath’s Irish Ale House restaurant....
Still has outside seating, haven’t yet eaten there.

Glory Days has a comfortable outdoor patio with plenty of seating and room for Fidos. It is situated to provide complete shade from the hot Florida sun. They will happily bring your little friend a bowl of cool water. The service is very good and the menu has something for everyone. Great sandwiches, burgers and sides.

Classic Irish Pub with great food, beer and ale choices and sidewalk dog friendly seating! Excellent, friendly service. Perfect for doggies and daddies while mommy shops too!

This is a new, clean and tastefully appointed hotel near downtown Lakewood Ranch, the Nathan Benderson Park, University Town Center and I-75. The staff is very dog friendly and there is a well maintained dog walking area with baggies and lots of room for your pup to explore.

This is a nice spot in the heart of Lakewood Ranch with great seafood, appetizers, burgers etc. Enjoy the large dog friendly, covered patio with bar access where they will bring fido a cool bowl of water, and master a cocktail or ice cold beer....

There are four shaded outside tables in front. Restaurant is right on Cortez Road in a small shopping center.
Brought cold water for our pup. Food is very good, many tasty choices and daily specials, but seafood is the specialty. Service was excellent. Good choice if you’re in the Cortez area looking for a great meal at reasonable prices with your doggie!

I completely agree with the previous review, the uncovered dog seating area is definitely a problem on most Florida days. They will sometimes allow patrons with dogs to sit at the outermost tables in the shaded area if it’s not crowded. The solution would be simply adding umbrellas to the dog patio....
That being said, the service is usually very good and the food is excellent. Great sandwiches and tasty apps. Frosty bar drinks, spectacular views. Come by boat too! Plenty of icy cold water for your pup in clean bowls!

This is a nice place to sit by the water and eat lunch or dinner. Also a good dock to tie up to if you’re bringing Fido by sea. Unfortunately, I have been here several times and the food has gone from average to lousy. They don’t pay very good attention and never cook to order. Everything is undercooked. The service is ok, but we had to repeat requests on almost everything to get what we had already asked for. The outside seating is on crushed shells, so your pooch may not be too comfortable.

Awful service, left us sitting after being seated for 15 minutes with zero service. When asked if we could get service the manager shrugged indifferently and said “Uh, yeah, I’ll see if I can find someone” then proceeded to ignore the request. Floor is dirty, environment is loud and obnoxious, and there’s nothing special about the food. Plenty of better dog friendly restaurants nearby on Main St. Not even worth the one bone...

Good island food, and above average, comfortable, dog friendly atmosphere. You may have to ask for a water dish. Two things I’ve learned about this place as a local
