We visited this morning with our 45lb pit-mix. There was a good bit of trash and bits of old dog toys around. A good part of the fenced area was muddy and the grass was long. There was a small doggie pool near the water spigot and our pup enjoyed playing in that. There were at least 6 baseballs and one deflated soccer ball around the small fenced area, apparently from the nearby ballfields. Some maintenance would go a long way to improving this dog park, including something around the water to prevent the big muddy area.

We could not find the dog park on driving through this large public park. No signs except around the ball fields that all said, "No animals." We walked some of the paved paths for a while then saw an owner with a dog and we asked him if he knew where the dog park was. We followed him, between several ball fields, around another field, and down a small, unmarked path to a very hidden fenced area. Muddy, in need of a mow, and a lot of mud around the watering area. One old picnic table that looked like it had been just shoved in their. Very disappointing. I understood the former dog park had been remade into tennis courts and this hidden, unmarked area was the afterthought. Very disappointing.

We've taken our dog to this park numerous times while visiting family in the area. It's one of the nicest dog parks we've been to and we've been to dog parks in 32 states, so far. The fenced area for large dogs is huge, mostly grass, some sand areas. They've added a couple of concrete sewer mains for the dogs to run in and around. There are quite a few water spigots around the perimeter of the park with an easy push handle and the water pans are up off the ground and have drainage so they're not muddy and full of gunk. Numerous shady areas with benches to sit and enjoy. This is definitely one of our favorite dog parks around! Thank you, Vero Beach!

January 2023 --sat outside with our pup and our server brought her a bowl of water immediately. We had raw oysters (excellent) and chicken wings (good, not great, but nothing to complain about). We will be going back, a very positive experience and several of the customers said hello to our pup.

We brought our 14yo Labrador to this beach on Thanksgiving day and, while there were a good number of people, they all seemed to be in small groups (about 8 or less) and kept distanced. The gentle, rolling waves thrilled our sweet old lady and she wandered out to chest-deep --unusual for her. The beach was very clean with waste receptacles conveniently located. We look forward to returning here!
