The perfect weather left me a little biased, but there was room for all on the beach, the water was clear and the wind was perfect. The walk to the sand was not much at all, unless you wanted to be way down the shore. I even carried a propane grill to the water. Parking was $25 for a 7 day Sleeping Bear Dunes Parking Pass.
