My husband and I recently took a day trip to Luray Caverns with our 2 year old Lab/Jack Russell mix, Willa Jean. Small dogs have to be carried on the tour, and Willa is about 30 pounds. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that upon request, larger dogs can stay in the kennels upstairs for free while you tour the caverns. The staff loved her and said she snored in her sleep! We had a wonderful time!
