the walk is less than a half a mile, but it is very steep. my 3 goldens had no problem . there are lots of stops on the way to rest and take photos. there is a $5 entry per person but the views are well worth it !

dogs are not allowed in the visitor center but they are allowed on the many trails. my pups enjoyed the battlefield loop trail. bring your own water and waste bags as there are none on the trails but there are benches to stop and rest . there is a water station at the visitors center

I brought my 3 goldens on the way home from a camping trip. they let us walk right in. nice outdoor patio on the creek is very peaceful. good selection of brews and food was tasty . will definitely be back when traveling that way again .

Very nice KOA with upgraded cabins. Fee WiFi was good. Clean cabins and very pet friendly with fenced in dog area and lots of dog waste stations around the park. They do charge a small pet fee. We will be back.

we were sat at the outside patio. nice selection of craft brews. within walking distance to shops in Cherokee.

Nice park. There is a walking trail and my goldens had fun playing in the lake. There are also covered picnic Tagore and restrooms.

Our 3 goldens were greeted at the door with a smile and dog treats. All the staff were very accommodating and our pups enjoyed all the attention!
