Geordie is a rescue greyhound. His birthday is Nov. 20 and Gotcha Day is Oct. 2. He loves to play and take lots of naps. He has a weakness for cheese and loves "Cheese Time."

Perfect spot

Harvest Grill & Greens at James Ranch

Great place for a lunch in the sunshine. Loved the grassy area because we had a dog, and he loved it too. Beautiful scenery out across the river valley. The food was excellent. The beers cold and tasty.

I know we lucked out with the weather but this place is a must-visit for a sunny afternoon in the gorgeous mountain air.

Great patio seating

Ouray Brewery

Tables along the side of the restaurant are dog friendly. All spots were taken by dog owners when we were there. The staff were super friendly and made sure all pups were watered and made to feel at home. Good food and beer - plus gorgeous scenery - made for a fantastic stop.
