The ShelbyThis listing implies that the restaurant is dog friendly year round. it’s not. it’s only dog friendly when the flaps are open in the tent during the summer months. As a result, I have no idea how the food and service are.

Terrific spot
La Quinta by Wyndham Santa RosaThis a terrific spot to stay on a cross country trip. Clean. Safe. Easily accessible to the freeway. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. And no problems at all for the pooch.

Nice place
Aloft Oklahoma City Downtown BricktownSmall rooms but nice. They had very good Covid protocols so it felt clean and safe. There is a small dog park next door and a great bakery for humans. Everyone was nice and both human and dog got a great night's sleep.

La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis WolfchaseThis hotel is very basic. Most La Quinta's are. So in and of itself, this isn't a problem. But they don't really have a pet relief area like they claim. Just a small strip of grass with some bags nearby. The hotel is in an area which is 90% parking lots, so there is really no place to take your pet. So that's why I can only give them 4 bones. Otherwise, everyone is very nice. The place is clean and well... basic.
