Having last stayed at a red roof inn where nothing was right it was a pleasure to stay at this Hampton inn where nothing was wrong. It is a little expensive with a $75 dog fee but at that price my dog can sleep on the bed with me. Breakfast was delicious as well.

While traveling to Florida we stayed at another RRI which was horrible and chose this one on our way back to PA. A lot of the other hotels near this one limit size of dogs to ‘small’ and my dog is large so this was my only option. Check-in took about 10 minutes as attendant seemed to be having trouble with something. She did greet me though. I had asked for room on ground floor but she gave me a room on second. The door would not open. The person in the room next to me was standing outside and said ‘that door sticks bad you need to really lean into it.” That didn’t work and he offered to try. That’s when I realized he lives in the room next door with 2 other people. There was another room on that floor that had live plants on the windowsill so clearly people are living here.
The front desk person came up and tried and eventually moved me to another room. My husband wanted to leave but the booking was 100% nonrefundable. I give their hotel 2 bones because the beds were nice and the AC worked. Breakfast was skimpy and there was no shampoo in the room (hand soap and body lotion in wall dispensers by sink). Saw a couple of bugs and the LVP flooring was kind of slippery. I am completely done with RRIs.

This was not the least expensive hotel we could have stayed out so I figured it would be safe. The TV was not working. Some kind of satellite issue that requires you to call DirecTV to fix. There was one single nearly empty roll of toilet paper; 2 very small bath towels for 2 people; no tissues but a rusty empty tissue holder built into the wall. If you need pillows there were plenty but I always travel with my own but I was in such a hurry to get out of there that I forgot it. Beds were a little too soft for me. There was plenty of hot water and ice. Breakfast was pitiful. Two very spotted bananas were the only fruit option. They also had orange juice, coffee, waffles, and cereal. I wasn’t touching any of it.

Rooms are worn and dingy, beds are OK, Bathrooms are decrepit, lobby and staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming. Guests were sitting on their stoops with doors open and smoking both cigarettes and marijuana. Feels like a ghetto. Pay another 20 bucks and stay somewhere else.
