Fairfield Inn & Suites Amarillo AirportHard working front desk Aimee! Suite spacious And clean. Issue with unlocking door resolved quickly with a new room and follow of how we settled in. Nice to go breakfast bag due to Covid. Lots of grass around property for potty breaks

Nice Pit Stop
Bark Park Dog Parktraveling across county stopped here to let labradoodle run. TONS of balls to throw and water bowls/water source. Fenced in area for large and small dogs (not clear signage) and ability to open fence between both fields for larger space. local pack of 4 pups (1 owner) attacked Finn after owner assured us they were friendly. Finn rescued immediately and no physical damage done. been to lots of dog parks on this trip and this unfortunately was the only one with unfriendly locals and misbehaved pups. the space has lots of perks though and great to use if not for the locals

Right Off The Highway
OnCue Express Dog Parkseparate double gates for both the small and dog areas plus a gate to combine both areas. super helpful if your dog is the only pet there and needs extra room to run. love the agility areas for stimulation and fun! bag station there but empty. a nice bench under a tree for me :-)

Biggest Dog Park
Twin Lakes Recreation Area Dog Parkhuge! used the fenced in park that goes on for acres. and separate fenced in area has a lake for swimming and ramps for easy in/out.

Amazing!
Dog Park at Tom Bolack Urban Forest Parkgreat friendly fenced in neighborhood dog park. water and volunteer supplied doggie bags so bring some as to not deplete their supply. after a 2 day drive across the country, my dog finally felt comfortable here to poop! lots of well behaved and monitored pups!

Right Off The I-40!
Dog Park at Heward Parksmall grass park but trees provide 2 large areas of shade. There’s 2 benches,poop bags and you go through 2 gates to enter park. it’s on a busy street! lots of Parking.
