Doggy Friendly

They like dogs but the reception staff were a little cold and not too friendly. Also, watch for the add-on charges.

Ashburn

Friendly hotel - they did not mind you having our dog in the foyer and reception area. This is a airport hotel so not a lot of grass around the property, but there is short path for a walk behind the property. Also a patio which we used.

Great Food Room for Fido outside

first the food was excellent and they accommodated our labradoodle. nice large patio. be sure to check if they are catering for a large party. unbeknown to us, one wedding, wedding shower and a typical sat night. our server was sweet but she had no pull in the kitchen and the bar. sat for 30 mins before being served with a drink. 60mins before appetizers and the another 40 before entree. when the food came it was superb. just need to time it and check ahead. they book the tables but have no regard for non resident clientele.

3rd Time Visiting, but

My review is based on two prior stays and now, my third. On previous occasions, there is no doubt this hotel loves dogs - they even gave the dog a goody bag and lots of attention. However, on this occasion, I was greeted by a very officious male receptionist who thrust this printed sheet with small font, detailing all the penalties I could incur if my dog misbehaved. Now, I understand there is an understanding that any damage done to a room, even a human can, is to be paid for. To present this legal document in front of me requiring me to initial all clauses was a little over the top. Further, I would suggest this is overkill - I have a hypoallergenic dog, brought my own bed (BTW - she only sleeps on this regardless of where we are) and she is exceptional well behaved - all obvious if you saw her. Other point - on the same trip, just a day earlier, I stayed in a lower cost Marriott hotel, no pet fee, no legal document to sign and far more welcoming. If you can afford to stay in the Brice, I am sure your pooch is clean and well behaved.

Now for the room experience - considering the hyper focus on cleanliness - then why did my room have trash from the prior occupants? The room had no hand soap and the room - well, could have done with a little more TLC. My recent experience was a disappointment - I dropped ~ $600 for two nights and was not impressed. As for a dog friendly hotel - more tolerate and this has changed. I probably will not revisit despite its location and past glories in my eye.
