We are from Texas and know what good brisket is and were pleasantly surprised that we found such great southern BBQ up North. Their cornbread was amazing too! They have a nice large patio with large fans to keep cool. My pets were welcomed with a bowl of water by the very friendly waitress. We can’t wait to return to Moab and will dine here again.

El Capitan was a very charming hotel with beautiful private patios in most rooms. The rooms are on the smaller side but you can ask to be upgraded to a larger room. The pet relief area was very well maintained and had very plush grass that my dogs enjoyed much better than the rocks at other area hotels. It says 25 lb limit however my dog is about 39 lbs and they welcomed her. We will stay there from now on when traveling through Van Horn.

We love this restaurant! They were very friendly and great with our dogs, they even offered them a piece of bacon! The food was also great, my husband especially loved the cinnamon roll french toast.

This is a great place to stop for a drink and they have the best catfish plate. They are very pet friendly as well with several water bowls out for the pups!

Overall it was a good experience. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They had a decent hot breakfast. My only complaint is there is no dedicated pet area with pet cleaning station and other pet owners left feces everywhere.

We enjoyed walking the trails with our dogs. Even though they weren’t allowed inside the dog site it wasn’t a problem for us to take turns going inside while the other stayed with the dogs. They also provided water bowls at the water fountain for the pups!

We had a great time going through all the little shops with our dogs. All of the landscaping was beautiful. I hope they add a pet store in the future with a pet bakery.

The room was not very spacious and almost none of the charging plugs worked or the desk lamp. The handle to the door in the shower was falling off. There was no hair dryer in the room either. Also, the bed was not very comfortable. It's a nice hotel, it just needs alot of repairs. There were lots of pet owners there, so very pet friendly.

It was really easy to get to the French Quarter by trolley which picks you up right in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly to us and our pets and even gave them a box of cookies and they put water on the front patio for the pups. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We'll definitely return.
