Nice location within vicinity of Saratoga Springs with lots of dining options nearby. Pet potty area was great with sufficient potty bags. Breakfast had a good selection. The bathroom definitely needed a refresh and the tub was moldy. The electricity went out within 30 minutes of check-in... no one knew why but apparently it was common as the desk clerk said typically it only goes out on that side of the road. We took that opportunity to go out to dinner and an hour later we showed back up to a dark room. It eventually came back on but nothing was offered for our inconvenience.

I arrived for a late check-in. After submitting special notes in my reservation about needing a late check-in and traveling with my two small dogs. The desk clerk was checking in a large college team but took the time to allow me to check in. She seemed frustrated that she was unaware of my pups staying and instead of $75 pet fee as published, I was charged $125. She was clearly not happy about it.

The room was fine except the couch was tired and had previous chew damage from someone else's pet. I asked the cleaners the next day to wait an hour and we would have the dogs out of the room. They were confined in a soft pen, but the cleaners apparently didn't understand or disregarded our request. Our dogs must've gotten excited and dumped their water everywhere.

The next night, we woke up early, and there was a sizable cockroach in the bathroom. We probably will look for a different place to stay on our next visit. Pet areas are nice and stocked with bags and plenty of space to walk the dogs.

EVERY staff member was super friendly and attentive! The room was a regular queen but it was enormous. Plenty of room to set up a kennel or x pen. My dogs are pad trained so being downtown with only a few patches of grass here and there was not an issue for us. Did I mention the exceptional staff from the front desk to the valet? Everyone was awesome and I saw them interacting that way with the other guests, as well. Highly recommend this hotel. 4 bones for lack of potty areas and one of our beds did have a bit of a dirty dog smell, but the other one did not.

I put on my reservation that I was traveling with my two Maltese. I checked in an asked if there were any restrictions to leaving well-behaved dogs in the room as the description mentioned. The staff member was visibly irritated and said, “Oh you have dogs?” in a disgusted tone. She then stated no leaving the dogs unattended at all! And the fee was $81 instead of $50. The room was clean but window seal area had drywall damage and the bathroom was worn. Nothing special and needs some upgrades.

We had a third floor suite. Very clean and large rooms. One room was basically an efficiency with foldout couch, desk, chair, tv, fridge and microwave. That room could be closed to the bedroom area. We kept the dogs crated in the bedroom area while we left, therefore they could not hear other guests in the hallway. I will definitely stay here again. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 bones is because the sink was clogged and the beds were miserable to sleep on. It was clean, nice and free breakfast and finger foods in the evenings during the weekdays. Win win!

Super friendly staff! Clean, updated and quiet. The staff was very welcoming with our pups. Did I mention the friendly staff? The staff was great and very welcoming and engaging. Awesome place to stay!

This hotel needs a major makeover! Tub did not drain abs hair dryer didn’t work. It needs updating and was overpriced for the condition of the hotel.
