Retired mom with a loving son, my pug, and his mini-American Eskimo!

We visit this wide open/sparsely-populated beach with our pups regularly. Available to dogs before 9am and after 5pm. On rare occasion, there is tar seepage so bring a little Dawn liquid for their paws. š¾

A lovely spot on the water that's dog friendly! A little park and walkway just outside the hotel. Dogs are allowed anywhere except the dining area.

A block from the beach with a wraparound outdoor patio, these folks LOVE dogs . And the pizza and brews are stellar!

Lovely spot NOT on the pier, but across the street from it. I have a small pug who was not allowed to sit on my lap or the chair next to me. All dogs must be on the cold outdoor patio floor and although they provided a treat and water bowl - IMO that's not acceptable for smaller dogs. We went elsewhere!

There's no on-site pet relief area; you have to cross a relatively busy street to get to the beach and grassy area for dogs. Decent sized room for a King but ocean view is only partial and there are stairs to navigate.
Few restaurants close by that allow dogs and the water is filthy - warning signs everywhere. Nearby multiple construction means lots of noise. Not likely to return.

The motel is very old and ground floor rooms get sewage backup from old pipes. No special amenities provided for pups either.

View was great and staff friendly, but no treats, not even a water bowl and no scritches or cuddles from any of them⦠they werenāt that busy and menu is pricey. Watch out for the big outdoor heating units - saw one hit a guest HARD in the head!
