FYI: no longer dog friendly
Morton's the SteakhouseMorton’s will only allow service dogs at this time. (presumably due to the outdoor-only seating)
Great spot!
LuLu California Bistrodelicious food, great outdoor spaces seating, brought our dog a bowl of water to beat the 100 degree heat. she loved people watching while we took our time enjoying lunch.
Magical setting
Spencer'sthis place is beautiful and so dog friendly. all the seating is outside right now and we had a great corner to set up our girl to relax while we enjoyed wonderful food and cocktails
Friendly staff, lots of outdoor seating
JC's Cafewe felt very welcome here! all seating is outside right now and we had a little nook to ourselves. they brought Roxie a bowl of water and some treats. the food is mediocre, but the bar is extensive if you are ready for day drinking!
Perfectly reasonable doggie home away from home
Homewood Suites by Hilton Palm DesertIt’s not the Ritz, but you don’t pay Ritz prices either. Our suite was spacious, comfortable and easy to spend a week in. We had enough room to host my in-laws for a sit down dinner. (their timeshare is anti pet). We kept our dog crated the few times we left her (as is recommended) but she may have been fine on her own. There were at least 6 other dog families nearby though and that was sometimes distracting for her. In these pandemic times, room service is as you ask for it and breakfast is self serve with a moderate selection of items. the rooms have toasters, full size fridges, and a stove top if you really want to cook. The best feature is the off-leash dog park that’s a 10 minute walk away. It’s well maintained and every owner was friendly and responsible.
