Picking up a Pup in Rio Rico? Stay HERE!

I'm writing this especially for any future dog owners who are going to Rio Rico to pick up their pup from the breeder nearby!! Our drive was a long one, so we decided to arrive the night before picking up the pup the next day, and that meant bringing our 90lb airedale terrier along with us-- which ALSO means... we needed a place that would permit him!

I always go out of my way to shout-out Big-Dog-Hospitable Businesses... because it TRULY means so much that you allow us to stay intact as a family while out in the world... and Quality Hotel Americana Nogales is no exception with reasonable rates and a remarkably reasonable nightly dog fee of $16!
They were completely hospitable, the room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfy and ample, and everyone was content.

The lobby is expansive, and a nice place to just decompress, although they also have a nice businesses center/ office, adjoined bar (with Karaoke on Friday nights!!!!), dining room (with a SENSATIONAL complimentary breakfast-- which has it ALL... cereals both hot and cold, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausages, waffles, bagels you can toast, PB&J, bananas, oranges, and mmmmmhmmmm biscuits and gravy that are PERFECT!). Parking is ample and the lot is big, the hotel is a block away from the police station and Civic Center Annex, so there's grounds to walk your dog during the day, though my husband and I were a bit cautious about walking around during the night-- just a vibe we got. Oh yeah... they also have a gym, which has everything you need for a simple workout: treadmill, bike, weights, tv-- I definitely utilized it while I was there and felt soo accomplished!

The staff are completely welcoming and helpful. And they loved my Big Dog! (Though they missed seeing my new puppy!). Thanks for a perfectly easy no-brainer stay before our big day!

Over the Top Dog Friendly-- and DELISH!

Oh Cheba Hut, how we love thee...

Not only are your toasted subs to die for (and we've tried about 6 different ones now-- all divine, with the White Widow in the lead by the tiniest hair filament of delish), and that garlic hoagie bread made on the premises, and your irresistable vat of honey mustard with those right-out-of-the-oven parmesan-dusted pretzels...

but the #1 reason why my husband and I chose to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary with your sandwiches? (all true!)

You've always been so doggone dog friendly. And it means SO MUCH...

So we can celebrate as a FAMILY.

As good as it gets!

Our FAVORITE stay in cross country trek-- this exceeded ALL expectations and was the best night by far! The Meatball Sub Mixer in the evening and hot delightful and healthy (eggs, spinach, oatmeal among other things!) breakfast in the morning, the clean and AMAZING pool (great for laps!) and jacuzzi, the comfy couch, quiet grounds and wonderful access to commercial establishments in the area-- I am going to be LOOKING for reasons to return! As always, dog-friendly was our first priority, also non-smoking, clean, quiet, and Covid19 safe (windows can open for fresh air!)... this location hit all the marks and then exceeded them by FAR!

Dog friendly, Clean, Quiet, Non-smoking, Covid19 Safe

The accommodations were clean, roomy, quiet, and we felt safe amid Covid19 pandemic, especially because we were able to open the window and let fresh air in. We were delighted that this was a dog-friendly hotel-- it was the REASON why we chose to stay here, and yet the suite was free of odors and we didn't hear neighboring dogs barking the entire time. A shout out to various staff members: Marceil and Lothar who served up my scrambled eggs with pleasant conversation in the morning, as well as Jennette at thee front desk who was refreshingly candid and personable!

What a LOVELY Surprise!!

Oh this was our first stay in a Towneplace Suite-- and we're SOLD! The accommodations were clean, roomy, DELIGHTFUL! The staff were friendly, the room was quiet, and we felt safe amid Covid19 pandemic, especially because we were able to open the window and let fresh air in. We were delighted that this was a dog-friendly hotel-- it was the REASON why we chose to stay here, and yet the suite was free of odors and we didn't hear neighboring dogs barking the entire time. Lastly, what a DELIGHTFUL town Streetsborough is, with local restaurants and an adorable main street-- this is a destination for folks that want to get away for a quiet respite!
