This was our first time Glamping in a rented RV with our 2 dogs. The lot was perfect, shady but beautiful view of the lake. The dogs loves the trails and swimming. They were exhausted every night! It is so peaceful, everyone is respectful of others privacy and peace. The campsite comes with it's own firepit and picnic table. But bring ALL the food you need with you because it is in the middle of nowhere! lol

We highly encourage those who want to go camping with their best (4 l4gged) friends and even some humans to try Lake Wateree. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to just relax and not be on the go, go go this place is all you need. Lots of trails to take the dogs and the water is the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip. There is a place not too far away that rents boats, but no dogs allowed, so that was a bummers. But if having your best 4 legged friends along, it's worth it. It is safe and peaceful and very clean. SO much wildlife to enjoy. We will be back!
