This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the world (and I’ve eaten in many of them). We went for the lobster boil, and came back two days later for the fish fry. First, the service is exceptional. The young people who waited on us were the sweetest, most professional,, and hardworking kids you’ll ever meet. Second, the food is equally exceptional. It drives me crazy when people overcook fish, and both dinners were cooked to perfection. And the portions are not small. Third, the patio experience is amazing: you get a beautiful view of the bay, and the aromas of the wood fire under the boil pot. The ambience rivals my favorite restaurants in the Loire Valley of France - I’m serious:; I enjoyed it that much. Why anyone would choose to eat inside in good weather is beyond me. Fourth, they treated our pup with so much love. They have a doggy menu, and the food they bring for Fido is so good I told my wife if we ever fell on hard times I’d come back here and order from the dog menu. Our “hamburger & kibble” doggy plate was cooked to medium rare - I kid you not. You can even order filet mignon for your pup from the doggy menu. In the end, it’s about all of the above: amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambience, and amazing staff. I cannot wait to come back again. Wherever you’re staying in Door County, make the trip to this restaurant. Trust me.

We chose a cozy cottage, Sarah’s. It was very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of room for the pups and I really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered patio. Beautiful dog friendly park steps away. Staff was gracious and breakfast was delicious. Great pup place at a very reasonable rate. No complaints.
